Stango is best known for his Pop Art style paintings. He earned his BA in Painting and Graphic Design from Temple University. His self-coined “American Muscle Car” style utilizes silkscreen printing and hand-painting in conjunction with juxtaposed pop culture imagery and thick brushstrokes. His inspirations and subject matter includes popular celebrity icons, advertising, mid-century modernism, and more. Stango currently works in his warehouse studio outside of Philadelphia.
