Each book is on Japan paper and come in a decorative slipcase. first volume in 1894 is numbered 1 out of 150 and has as its frontispiece an original pen and ink drawing of “Montiagne in his library”, also present is an etching by Albert Robida (1848 – 1926) a well known French etcher and caricaturist.
