Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1936, contemporary artist Jurgen Peters is celebrated for his optical abstract compositions. His geometric compositions radiating with energy and movement inspired a group of artist in the 1970’s that included Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam and Bridget Riley. Today his work is found in a number of private collections.
