Jerome D’Angelo is an American artist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is best known for his abstract mixed media assemblages and found object art. In his own words, D’Angelo states that his art, “derives from amalgamations, collections of details that form a single entity. Each summons forth a moment or tells a story, a reality embellished by my imagination, experience and perspective; a conversation made visual.” D’Angelo has exhibited his work in galleries and universities across the United States, as well as in France, Mexico, and Poland. His artwork belongs in the public and private collections of many influential Pittsburgh figures and institutions, including the Coca-Cola Company and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
