Commemorative Olympic Stamps and Soviet Coins, 1976. This lot contains nine mint commemorative stamps issued by the Soviet Union in approach of the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. They highlight the Olympic flame, Cycling, Greco-Roman wrestling, archery, and swimming, diving, yachting, gymnastics and association football(soccer). The stamps are on acid free paper and in plastic sleeves in a small souvenir album. Also included is an encapsulated commemorative set of uncirculated Soviet coins in 1, 2, 3 5, 10, 25, 20 and 50-Kopek denominations and a 1-Ruble coin. Both items are housed in a commemorative open ended red box with the Olympic Rings in gilt print.
