- uneven toning, stains, and foxing to paper; edge wear to sheet including bent and creased corners and tears along sides; crease along center line from original book page format; fade to watercolor; holes to page at upper left and to right side below center, with embrittlement to paper surrounding; faded, illegible handwriting to one side of verso sheet appears backwards.
