Collection of Russian Currency, Early 20th Century. This collection of seven Russian banknotes were issued before and during the Russian Revolution and include a 1912 500 ruble note featuring a right facing Peter the Great to the obverse, a 100 ruble note with left facing Catherine the Great to the obverse and with denomination to the reverse of both. Also included is a 1905 3 ruble note, a 1909 5 ruble note and a 1909 10 ruble note with all three having the Russian Imperial coat of arms to the obverse and denomination to the reverse. There is also a 1917 Russian Provisional Government 1000 ruble note with denomination to the obverse and reverse. All notes have been circulated and are on synthetic sheets behind mylar.
