1853 and 1853 Type II Seated Liberty Silver Dime with Arrows. These coins feature Liberty looking back to the left over her shoulder and date with arrows on either side to the obverse and raised winged eagle with shield clutching arrows with rays to the reverse. Designer: Christian Gobrecht. Mintage: 13,210,020(dime). Metal content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 15.5 mm(dime). Weight: approximately 1.24 grams.
