Frank H. Myers was born in Cleves, Ohio, then moved to Cincinnati where he studied at the Art Academy through 1920. In 1925, he married Ella Price and they traveled through Europe then later out west to Colorado and Santa Fe, where he met and painted with Henry Sharp. In his later years, he moved to California where he was active in the Carmel Art Association while he continued to paint in the Monterrey peninsula area with Donald Teague and others. Frank Myer’s work has been widely exhibited and is included in the permanent collections of many prestigious museums and institutions such as the National Museum of American Art, The University of Cincinnati, The Smithsonian Museum and the San Diego Museum of Art.
