- rug shows signs of having had a width-wise segment towards one end removed and then having had that end of the rug sewn back on; rug appears to have had a rectangular patch, likely from the excised segment previously noted, sewn in at one corner of the central field of rug; area of visible wearing down and loss to pile located towards the middle of the central field of pattern; small spots of minor adhesive residue, discoloration, and stiffness present to pile within the central field of rug; light color variation, freckling, and wear to pile; minor fraying and wear to selvedges; light fraying and unevenness to fringe; minor variation in width and depth.
