- discoloration to painting varnish; accretions throughout; evidence of restoration includes canvas re-lining, moderate overpainting and surface cleaning, and paint consolidation; craquelure throughout painting; buckling to canvas causing dents and ripples; chips and cracks to frame molding; finish loss and edge wear to frame; bow warping to canvas stretcher bars on verso.
