Sixty Indian Head Cents, Mostly 1800s, Some High Grades. Lot contains sixty Indian Head cents ranging from 1863 to 1907. Designer: James B. Longacre. Metal Content of earlier cents: 88% copper, 12% nickel. Weight of earlier cents: approx. 4.67 grams (each). Metal Content of bronze cents: 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc. Weight of bronze cents: approx. 3.11 grams (each). Diameter: 19 mm. Conditions vary.
