An English School oil painting on canvas depicting a half-length portrait of a gentleman. The frame plaque attributes the painting to George Romney (England, 1734 – 1802) and the subject as Sir Thomas Troubridge, 1st Baronet (1758- 1807). However, this is not supported by documentary research.
