Alexander Graham Bell Signed Sheet Music Piano Score, ‘Danse Espagnole’ by Joseph Ascher, Op. 24. Lot includes a large format piano music score for Joseph Ascher’s ‘Danse Espagnole’, which was first published in 1853. The piece was dedicated to Madame Bouchardy and contains nine pages of music in the Key of G. Advanced scoring. Pages are separated, appear to have been stitched together at one point, but have been conserved with Japanese paper and archival acid-free tape. The cover bears ink signature of a prominent scientist, educator, and inventor Alexander Graham Bell (A.G. Bell). Score measures 10′ × 13 1/2’. Item is in good condition with little edge wear or chipping. JSA has authenticated the signature and a full letter is included.
