The print is part of a series titled ‘Pacific Lights’ and Dunitz used stainless steel, copper plates, and titanium sheets colored with a Mapp Gas torch and electricoity. He adds texture by using power grinders and sanders. The piece is then photographed. This abstract print features hues of blue, orange, pink, lavender, brown and black and is framed in a plexiglass floating frame. The artwork includes a hardcover book featuring the artwork, titled ‘Pacific Light’ by Jay Dunitz, copyright 1989 by Light Press. There are also biographical sheets and information included regarding Dunitz’s artwork.
