- signs of inpainting and other repairs visible under UV light and to the verso of canvas, most significantly to the upper left quadrant of frame where it appears a hole or tear in the canvas was patched; significant craquelure, scuffing, accretions, light flaking, and discoloration to paint; impression of wear partially visible to painting along the borders where the canvas meets the stretchers; significant scuffing, scratching, and flaking to frame; discoloration and minor accretions to surfaces of frame.
