This collection contains postage stamps from the early to mid 20th Century and the late 20th century There are singles, sets and souvenir stamps as well as forty-three complete or near complete books of stamps from the US Postal Service. The stamps in this collection feature American Presidents, state centennials and anniversaries, flowers, holidays, artists, historical figures and many other themes. Also included are State and Federal Revenue stamps including prepaid sales tax, life insurance stamps, documentary stamps, beverage license tax, and others. The stamps are mint and cancelled, loose, affixed to postal covers and post cards or are affixed to the removed corners of postal covers. Overall condition varies across the lot, some creased, bent corners, some have been hinged.
