- scratches and scuffs; a horizontal crack in the glass as seen in image #11; accretion; fading of the images; gilt, leather and material loss to the cases; one of the cases front cover has detached; cases have loose hinges; the eyeglasses depict patina loss with a tangled chain; the condition is consistent with age.
