- yellowing to varnish layer of painting; lost tension to canvas resulting in buckling and sag; stretcher marks to canvas; accretions with foxing to surface; abrasion with dent in canvas at upper right; craquelure throughout; edge wear to frame with finish loss, cracks, and chips to molding.
