Twenty-five and ten-cent fractional currency notes. This lot consists of an 1874 fifth issue 25-cent fractional currency note with former Treasury Secretary Robert J. Walker’s portrait to the obverse and two 1874 fifth issue 10-cent fractional currency notes with former Treasury Secretary William Meredith’s portrait to the obverse. All notes are signed by Allison and Spinner and feature red seals and green denominational printing to the reverse. The 25-cent note is lightly circulated while the 10-cent notes are heavily circulated.
