Born in Texas in 1925, Tom Hill studied illustration and graphic design. After serving in the United States Navy, Hill worked as an artist for the Chicago Tribune newspaper and freelanced commercial art while in New York before moving to Arizona. He is a member of the National Academy of Design, holding the position of Academician. His work is collected by various public and private collections.
