Additional Information | Qing Dynasty period (1644-1912). The robe is embroidered with four-clawed dragons, flaming pearl (pearl of wisdom), clouds, guardian lions, lusui waves, manji/wànzì symbols or swastikas, which represented well-being, good fortune and the universe/“all things”, medallions, bats, eternity knots and flowers. |
