Tim Deibler was born and raised in Oklahoma, and knew he wanted to paint landscapes after seeing the 1956 movie The Mountain as a young boy. He attended the Art Institute of Colorado, and then worked as a commercial artist until he left in 1992 to pursue fine art, eventually moving to the mountains of Colorado in 1999. In his single-minded pursuit, he studied with many of the most notable contemporary landscape artists, including Scott Christensen, Doug Dawson, Kim English and Quang Ho among many others. He has become a popular workshop teacher himself, and published a book, Capturing the Seasons in Oils, with North Light Books. Deibler’s work resides in numerous private and corporate collections, including former President Bill Clinton.
