Prolific in a multitude of mediums, Ernest Fiene was German artist that immigrated to the United States in 1912. He studied at the National Academy of Design, the Beaux-Arts Institute of Design, the Art Students League and the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. With his accumulated knowledge and skills, Fiene proceeded to teach at the Art Students League and eventually became a member of the supervising faculty for the Famous Artists School in Westbury, Connecticut.
