Alyne Harris is a folk artist based in Florida, known for her paintings of angels, church scenes, African American culture, gardens, animals, and birds. Her work can be found in museums, corporate and private collections. In addition to several folk art publications, Harris’s work was featured in the groundbreaking exhibition Souls Grown Deep: African American Vernacular Art of the South (1996).
