Post War Sterling Jewelry Including "Daughters of the Revolution" Bracelet
Item Details
A selection of post war jewelry including a ‘Daughters of the American Revolution’ bracelet. This selection features a charm bracelet with General Electric commemorative charms given out on special occasions to employees of the company with year marks on the back of two of the charms starting in 1953. Also included is a 1950s mother of pearl pendant with the Chinese character for ‘love’ or ‘Ài’. The other bracelet included features the monogram DAR for Daughters of the American Revolution, a group with it’s founding year in 1890, dedicated to preserving American history and promoting patriotism.
