George Baker was an American Impressionist landscape painter, born in Indiana in 1878. He studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy, as well as with John Elwood Bundy (1853 – 1933) and at the Boothbay Art School His work resides in the permanent collections of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana Art, Richmond Art Museum, Earlham College, and the Miami University Art Museum.
