| Additional Information | First Edition of Walt Disney’s version adapted from the original Bambi , a novel written by Felix Salten in 1928. The Disney version introduces several new characters not present in Felix Salten’s original text (Bambi: A Life In The Woods), most notably Thumper the Rabbit and Flower The Skunk. Bound with “A BAMBI GALLERY”; four extra full-color pictures by Walt Disney. Removal will not affect the text, nor injure the binding. Subsequent editions only contained 14 pages in full color, five additional half-pages in color, and 54 black-and-white drawings. |
