Ancient Seleucia AR Tetradrachm coin of Demetrios I Soter, ca. 155 B.C. Antioch mint. Obverse: diademed head of Demetrius I right within a wreath. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTΡIOY, Tyche seated left on throne with winged tritoness support, holding short scepter and cornucopia, DI monogram in outer left field. Metal Content: silver. Diameter: 30 mm. Coin is lightly circulated and features an extremely high relief on the obverse. Wonderful eye appeal. Ref. Houghton 83.
