Jesse Redwin Bardin is known for his abstract paintings that exude a sense of light. He first studied at the University of South Carolina and then at the Art Students League in New York, eventually settling into a distinguished teaching career at the Richland Art School in Columbia, South Carolina. Bardin’s work resides in the permanent collections of the Columbia Museum, Pennsylvania State University, Williams College Museum of Art, the Mint Museum and the Hunter Museum among others.
