Low Mintage 1890 Liberty Head $2.50 Quarter Eagle Gold Coin. This coin features a left facing Liberty under thirteen stars to the obverse and raised wing eagle with shield to the reverse. Designer: Christian Gobrecht. Mintage: 8,720. Metal content: 90% gold, 10% copper. Diameter: 18 mm. Weight: approximately 4.18 grams. Appears uncirculated.
