Portfolio and/or Book: Appears to be a German language copy of a map from Military Memoirs of the Ancients by Maubert de Gouvest (Paris, 1762)
Additional Information: The map shows the encampments and troop positions of the armies of Julius Caesar against the Republicans and their Nubian allies near the cities of Usita and Ruspina. This battle was during the Roman Civil War (49 – 45 BCE).
