Edouard Benedictus was a French artist, composer, chemist, and writer known for his Art Nouveau designes and for inventing laminated shatterproof glass. He is praised for his featured pochoir design series Variations, which depicts floral motifs. His other successful endeavors include costume, stage, and furniture designs as well as founding the The Triplex Glass Company.
