A small Chinese puzzle box and bank with an inlaid wood landscape scene to top; featuring a house, lake, boat and mountain. The box lid splits in two parts to reveal the coin slot; to open the bank one must solve the puzzle, closing the hinged lid and sliding back the whole top to reveal the stash of coins inside. This is a delightful bit of artistry, sure to please kids of all ages.
Condition
Good for age; puzzle works as designed. Box shows some wear to finish from use; there are letters penciled on the side from a past owner.
