Ancient Phrygia, Apameia AE24 bronze coin, ca. 148 B.C. Obverse: Bust of Athena right, in high-crested Corinthian helmet and an aegis. Reverse: AΠAMEΩN, ANTIΦΩN MENEKΛEOYΣ, eagle alighting right on basis decorated with meander pattern, flanked by caps of the Dioskuri surmounted by stars. Metal Content: bronze. Diameter: 24.2 mm. Coin is lightly circulated. Ref. SNG Cop 164.
