Doug Menuez began a career in photojournalism in the 1980s, working for The Washington Post, Newsweek, TIME, Fortune_, USA Today, and more, covering the AIDS crisis, the Ethiopian famine, impoverished life and the homeless, the Olympics, and the rise of Silicon Valley innovators such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Carol Bartz. He has photographed the portraits of Mother Teresa, Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr., Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, and countless other historically renowned public figures.
