Dianne Flynn is a British artist known for vivid, light-filled figure oil paintings often depicting children, women, and genre scenes of figures in Edwardian and early 20th century fashions. Born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, Flynn studied art and design at Manchester School of Art, and at Leeds Polytechnic, she earned an art teaching certificate. She traveled to Languedoc, France briefly to continue her studies, but since 1975, has been living and working mostly out of her studio in London. In addition to being a full-time artist, she has since taught several classes in various painting techniques and written several articles including for Artist magazine. Her work can be found in private collections and in several British galleries.

- accretions to the painting and frame particularly to the verso; cracks, finish loss, molding loss, and discoloration throughout the frame; previous repairs and molding replacement to the frame, notable to corners.
