Beaded Inuit Sealskin Moccasins

Item Details

A pair of traditional mid 20th century handmade Inuit moccasins. The moccasins are made of leopard seal and feature a brain tanned buckskin top dyed a deep red with amazing beadwork featuring a totem design an eagle-like design and ‘Alaska’ beaded below. The shoes are embellished with what appears to be rabbit trim.
