Condition
- discoloration and accretion throughout surface; slight fray to edges of burlap canvas, noted in corners, with some loss to hooked loops; uneven edges; matted pile and flattening to loops across piece; stretcher bars have loose joins and easily twist under the weight of the rug; billow to textile from loose stretching; tear to cotton lining on verso.
