Mary Gardner Preminger was an American artist known for her modern abstract sculptures and paintings. Before her art career, she was a competitive figure skater, a high fashion model in New York, and made several television appearances. In 1950, she married movie producer Otto Preminger, but instead of moving into film acting chose to work on developing her art career, working out of studios in Malibu, California and in New York. She exhibited across the country including at the Museum of Modern Art and Los Angeles County Museum, and her work can be found in several prominent corporate and private collections.
