Barbara Swan graduated from Wellesley College in 1943 with a B.A. in Art History, then studied painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts until 1948. She has been associated with the Boston Expressionist School. Swan taught art classes at Wellesley in the mid 1970s where she first met Kenworth Moffett, who taught at Wellesley College between 1968 and 1979.

Condition

- toning to sheet; foxing and discoloration to the center; stains along the lower edge; scratches, chips, accretions throughout the frame.
