- significant fading to image and yellowing to gelatin binder, with ink details standing out starkly in areas where image has faded; image has shifted slightly beneath mat; discoloration to mat; accretion beneath glass and to surface of glass and frame; tarnish and discoloration to metallic frame finish; cracking throughout frame molding; slight separation of frame corner joins.
