1930s Paragon Fine China Grapevine Tea Service
Item Details
A 1930s Paragon fine china ivy and grapevine tea set is a service for six. This includes six tea cups, six saucers, six dessert plates, a creamer, and sugar bowl. The porcelain set have a golden dotted line design with a green and red grapevine bands, and gold painted handles and edges. These are all marked ‘Paragon By Appointment, Fine China, Made in England’.
Condition
Two of the plates have very shallow chips underneath. The set needs to be cleaned. There is some yellowing along seams, but this appears to be from age. The gold paint is wearing away on some areas. One cup has a tiny crack on its lip near the handle. Some have writing on the bottom of the pieces.
