Pearce Bates "Coonlite" Signed and Numbered Wood Block Print

A Pearce and Bates ‘Coonlite’ signed and numbered wood block print was produced by two artists K.C. Pearce and Bob Bates. The pair were not only co-artists, but also husband and wife. The ink wood block print depicts a yellow eyed raccoon in the night. It is signed on the bottom right and titled ‘Coonlite’ and numbered 26/50 on the bottom left. This is thought to date to the 1960s-1970s. The artwork is professionally matted and framed under a glass plate.

Condition

The paper backing has small tearing and water damage. The frame has tiny scuff marks. The print is in very good condition.
