Drawings signed to the lower corners

Known for his modern abstract style and his WPA murals of the Depression era, Yaeger was influenced by European modernists such as Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, and Giorgio de Chirico. Yaeger’s work has been exhibited at many institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, among others.

Condition

- toning to paper particularly to smaller early 20th century drawings; smudges throughout and minor stains; creases to the corners and edges of the lithograph; edge wear and tears to all sheets; pinholes to some corners.
