Additional Information | Félix Alexandre (b. 1823) was a widely recognized évantailliste (fan maker) in the second half of the 19th century. The Alexandre silk-covered fan case is monogrammed to the lid “C. C.”. The folding fan has not been attributed to Félix Alexandre. The fan features pierced Mother of Pearl sticks and double-sided images with gold leaf trim. |
