Steve Jenkins is a traditional oil painter, specializing in landscapes, and known as a master colorist. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio University, and went on to teach at the Baker Hunt Academy in Covington, Kentucky for 24 years. He currently paints at Essex Studios in Cincinnati. Jenkins work resides in numerous corporate and private collections, including Christ Hospital, Cintas Corporation, Merrill Dow, Butler Art Institute, and the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati. He has exhibited at The Cincinnati Art Club, the Mary Ran Gallery, and was awarded the first place prize at the Duveneck Art Show in 2007.
