- discoloration to painting varnish; stretcher marks to canvas with cracks to paint; impact marks and additional general craquelure to paint, with delamination and flaking paint scattered throughout, paint loss concentrated at center horizon line; canvas embrittlement and thinning throughout, with tears and associated paint loss at center and upper left; overpainting scattered to darker areas of painting; cracks throuhgout frame molding; other abrasions, marks, and edge wear to frame.
