Photographer Donald Weber is known for his work that explores the infrastructures of power in conjunction with globalized violence. He originally studied architecture and worked with Rem Koolhaas’ Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. As a photographer, he is the recipient of several fellowships and awards, such as the Guggenheim Fellowship, two World Press Photo Awards, the Lange-Taylor Prize, and the Duke and Duchess of York Prize, to name a few. Weber has authored four books, and his work has been exhibited in multiple institutions including United Nations, the Portland Museum of Art, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Museum of the Army at Les Invalides, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, among others.
