Michael currently resides with his wife and four children in the Cache Valley of northern Utah, where he finds inspiration in the rural landscape. He completed his associate’s degree at Dixie College, and the went on to study under Perry Stewart at Southern Utah University, and finally earning a Master of Fine Arts at Utah State University where he studied under Glen Edwards.
